James Michael Dayton was born on March 22nd, 1989. He is a great friend and an amazing father. In 2016, James started his fight with cancer after finding out that he was diagnosed with Testicular cancer.
A majority of 2019, James has been in and out of the hospital for chemotherapy sessions, radiation, and various operations- none of which prevailed. As of today, James has been diagnosed with Stage 4 Lymphoma, and will remain in Hospice care for the remainder of his life.
Prior to his treatment, James was always described as a hard-worker by close family and friends. Unfortunately, due to the severity of his circumstance, James has been pulled out of work and will not be able to return back. James played a role in our community. He would always be ready to lend a helping hand, and always with a smile on his face. Now, it is our goal to return the favor
James is the father of 8-year-old Tyler James Dayton. Tyler has always been James’ main priority. Unfortunately, James’ condition has escalated rapidly, where his doctors have given him a limited time span of two months to live. James’ final request is to ensure that he can leave behind a fund in honor of his name for Tyler. James’ hope for Tyler is that he will be able to afford an education in the future and live life comfortable.
Our goal is to ensure the comfort of James during this trying time. We want to eliminate all stressors and anxieties on the table for James. Our hope is for James to be able to relax during the last few months of his life.
On December 14th, 2019, James’ friend Zach Tauterouff and Connie Nguyen will be organizing a benefit show that will include live music, food, and raffles located at the Bundy Museum 129 Main St. Binghamton, NY. 13905. T-shirts with the JamesWorld logo will be available for purchase at the benefit. Any donations would be greatly appreciated. If you are interested in donating any cards, gift certificates, or raffle baskets, please contact Connie Nguyen at (607) 725-4214 or email JAMESWORLDbenefit@gmail.com.
