Discussion on Serling’s growing up in Binghamton and the many influences that helped to shape some of his Twilight Zone episodes.

Screening: The Loner promo film

This 9 minute film was created to show to prospective sponsors. The lead character is played by Lloyd Bridges but the secondary cast is different. Dialogue and sets are different.

At this time the Rod Serling Archive is the only Archive in the world that has this film. Serling appears on screen and he recites the now famous opening dialogue that is heard during the opening credits with theme song.

Q & A to follow

Following this program everyone’s invited to meet at the Double Tree Hotel in Binghamton for an impromptu gathering to kick off the Rod Serling Memorial Foundation’s “Genius of Rod Serling” 2 day event.
