Join us for a poetry workshop with a speculative twist! Poet Wendy Van Camp will be leading us in the art of Scifaiku–science fiction themed haiku poetry.
This poetry form was developed half a century ago and follows similar rules to creating English language haiku, but with a more fantastical angle. In this workshop, Van Camp will explain the essential parts needed to compose and structure this specialized poetry form. Brainstorm your way to creating your own speculative poetry and imagining new worlds with verse.
October 16 from 5PM – 7PM EDT
$5 for Roberson Members; $15 for Not-Yet-Members
