Seeds of Time: Binghamton at the 1893 World’s Fair

Continuing Exhibition, Open during First Friday Art Walk
January 4, 2019 6-9PM.

The 1893 World’s Columbian Exposition in Chicago was a spectacular showcase of American artistry, scientific accomplishments, invention and innovation. The World’s Fair opened the door to the future, and schools and businesses representing Binghamton sent their best work to display. To commemorate the 125th anniversary of the Fair, this exhibit shows Binghamton’s contributions to the World’s Columbian Exposition, and how those contributions reflected Binghamton’s values and aspirations for the future.
