Let’s learn how to create our own patterns by getting inspired by buildings and their architectural adornments!
During this 1 hour workshop, we’ll be getting inspired by the places around us—maybe buildings we pass by everyday that deserve a second glance. We’ll be using the Zentangle® Method of patterned drawing combined with traditional methods for sketching on location to guide us.
Through this workshop, you’ll learn about sketching outside, gathering references, and how to best start your journey. You’ll learn how to break-down complex designs, and create and keep a pattern encyclopedia with step-outs.
Drawing is a great way of knowing a space better–of seeing and noticing–and capturing a space through a drawing is a great way of capturing a beautiful memory.
Participants will receive an e-book to take with you wherever you go.
This class is best for those who have taken Zentangle 1 & 2.
