You are cordially invited to the engagement celebration of Acis and Galatea, where passion and jealousy will collide as the envious Polyphemus intervenes to claim Galatea as his own. Will Acis and Galatea’s love prevail? This new cinematic production of Handel’s popular opera—a modern retelling based on Greek mythology—is a co-production of Annapolis Opera and Tri-Cities Opera. It was originally conceived and directed by David Lefkowich for an Out of the Box Opera site-specific staged production.
