Remembering Julius Rudel

Julius Rudel, the principal conductor and director of New York City Opera for 22 years (1957-79), died Thursday. Many singers who trained at Tri-Cities Opera made their New York City debut under Rudel’s guidance. Here is a link to the New York Times obituary:
