The Binghamton University Symphony Orchestra, directed by Timothy Perry, steps off the beaten track to highlight neglected and forgotten music with Florence Price’s Symphony No. 3 in C minor, Karl Ditters von Dittersdorf’s Sinfonia Concertante for Viola and Stringed Bass and Franz Schubert’s Overture to Die Zauberharfe with Roberta Crawford, viola and Desmond Bratten, bass. This concert will be held at 3 p.m., March 3 in the Osterhout Concert Theater at Binghamton University.
