High School Emerging Artist Competition
The Annual High School Emerging Artist Competition is open to all high schools and high school-level home schoolers in Broome County. In 2020, the Annual High School Emerging Artist Competition will combine with FASST’s Annual Young At Art Exhibition. The combined show will take place in March 2020 in the Oakdale Mall across from the former “Things Remembered” store. The exhibition is judged by professional artists and hosts an Awards Ceremony Wednesday, March 18th* (date postponed due to COVID-19, TBD). BCAC and FASST have partnered with the Binghamton Philarmonic’s Beethoven Project to create a special category that celebrates the life and times of Beethoven. Participants receive certificates from the Broome County Arts Council and FASST, and winners have the option to display their work with BCAC’s Artisan Gallery throughout the month of May.
