A concert of traditional African music will be performed by a full ensemble of drummers and dancers, directed by Elikem Nyamuame at 7:30 p.m. Thursday, May 9 in Watters Theater. African dance-drumming typically juxtaposes several art forms together including storytelling, pantomime, oral history and community wisdom.
