Come view the exhibition, “The Power of Haudenosaunee Women” from Sept. 21st through Nov. 16th, 2019. This exhibition showcases the impact of the Haudenosaunee women within their culture and beyond.
If you come to our opening on Sept. 21st from 11AM-3PM, you can also enjoy the Haudenosaunee (Iroquois) Festival. The festival features traditional Haudenosaunee cuisine from the Onondaga farm, Chris Thomas & the Onondaga dancers from 1PM-2PM, traditional lacrosse stick maker Alf Jacques, active Onondaga Nation Council member and Faith Keeper Tony Gonyea, children’s pottery making contest with judging @ 2:30PM, clips of a documentary on the history of lacrosse courtesy of Inside Lacrosse Founder Robert Carpenter, authentic vendors, and art. Admission is free!
The Vestal Museum is open on Sundays from 1PM-3PM, Thursdays and Fridays from 10AM-2PM, and Saturdays from 10AM-3PM.
