Paul J. Parks will lead a salon in discussing various aspects of cultural and artistic synthesis in Southeast Asia in conjunction with an exhibit of his photographs of the region taken during the past ten years. The salon, traditionally a gathering of people held to enlighten and engage in conversation, will at this event, explore the fusion of tradition and modernity, diverse beliefs and practices, and the customs and creativity of myriad people and places throughout Southeast Asia.
