A down-on-his-luck food cart vendor, hopelessly in love with the goal-oriented owner of a local brewery, acquires a wellness potion that gives him the courage to become his best self and win her heart. Complete with spiedies, beer, and baseball, this updated retelling of Donizetti’s classic, The Elixir of Love is sure to charm any Binghamtonian. With a new English adaptation by librettist Audrey Chait and directed by Frances Rabelais, our FIRST in-person performance in over a year will be presented outdoors in the parking lot of the Schorr Family Firehouse Stage in a large, ventilated, open-sided tent.
