National Theatre Live
The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night
TBC 2 hr 50 mins
Captured live from the National Theatre in London, this critically acclaimed production directed by Marianne Elliot (Angels in America, War Horse) has astonished audiences around the world and has received seven Olivier and five Tony Awards. Christopher, fifteen years old, stands beside Mrs Shears dead dog. It has been speared with a garden fork, it is seven minutes after midnight and Christopher is under suspicion. He records each fact in the book he is writing to solve the mystery of who murdered Wellington. He has an extraordinary brain, exceptional at maths while ill-equipped to interpret everyday life. He has never ventured alone beyond the end of his road, he detests being touched and he distrusts strangers. But his detective work, forbidden by his father, takes him on a frightening journey that upturns his world.

Arts In Education Residency Workshops
What is a Residency?
A Residency is when a host organization and local artist collaborate on a progressive artistic project with a culminating end. Residencies can take place in schools and local community centers and are for individuals of all ages. Come see first-hand what an Arts in Education Residency looks like.
There will be 4 different regional artists presenting a piece of their residency for the group. Group members will engage in residency activities and learn first-hand how residencies function, and the benefit the Arts can have on all individuals for lifelong learning and the promotion of well-being. We will also take time to discuss eligibility criteria and funding opportunities.
These workshops are intended for regional artists, potential host organizations, and any community members interested in learning more.

The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee
Winding River Players
Winner of the Tony and the Drama Desk Awards for Best Book, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee has charmed audiences across the country with its effortless wit and humor. Featuring a fast-paced, wildly funny and touching book by Rachel Sheinkin and a truly fresh and vibrant score by William Finn, this bee is one unforgettable experience.
An eclectic group of six students vie for the spelling championship of a lifetime. While candidly disclosing hilarious and touching stories from their home lives, the tweens spell their way through a series of (potentially made-up) words, hoping never to hear the soul-crushing, pout-inducing, life un-affirming “ding” of the bell that signals a spelling mistake. Six spellers enter; one speller leaves! At least the losers get a juice box. A riotous ride, complete with audience participation, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee is a delightful den of comedic genius.
