Brittany Hall, who has served as executive director of the Binghamton Philharmonic for four seasons, has accepted a position with the Fort Wayne Philharmonic and will be moving to Indiana in August. BPO Assistant Director Andrea Carey will serve as interim executive director while the BPO board conducts a formal search for Hall’s successor.

In a farewell letter today (July 9) to the “BPO Family,” Hall cited such recent accomplishments as the Mac & Cheese Fest, the revival of Pops on the River and the orchestra’s participation in LUMA and expressed confidence that Carey; the board, staff and musicians, and Maestro Daniel Hege will “build on these successes and craft a legacy that will endure for generations onward.”
