BLAST (Bold Local Artists of the Southern Tier) is thrilled to announce the opening production of their 4th season with the hilarious, Tony Award-winning musical A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder. This delightful and fast-paced comedy, brimming with music, murder, and mayhem, will take the stage from September 27 to October 6 at Cider Mill Stage, “Your Hometown Theater,” located at 2 Nanticoke Ave., Endicott, NY.

Featuring music and lyrics by Binghamton University alumnus Steven Lutvak and a book by Robert L. Freedman, A Gentleman’s Guide to Love and Murder tells the story of Monty Navarro (Chris Vanderwerker), a young man who discovers an astonishing family secret on the night of his mother’s funeral. Guided by the mysterious Miss Shingle (Kate Murray), Monty learns that he’s an aristocrat and eighth in line for the D’Ysquith family earldom. With his newfound knowledge, Monty embarks on a riotous journey to eliminate his relatives, including the unsuspecting D’Ysquith family (Jan DeAngelo), in hopes of claiming the title of Earl and winning the affection of the stunning and self-centered Sibella (Anna Rizzotti) or the witty and charming Phoebe (Amanda Blake). But as Monty soon discovers, murder isn’t the only thing on his mind.
