On First Friday, January 7th, from 6-9 PM, view the opening of Russell Serrianne’s “Natural Line: Vine Tendrils on Paper”, showing through Artisan Gallery at Orazio Salati Studio & Gallery located at 204 State Street in Binghamton. As per NYS guidelines, all visitors are required to wear a mask regardless of vaccination status. Masks will be provided if needed.
Russell Serrianne is captivated by the energized line naturally found in the strength and determination of the vine tendril. He uses the vine tendril as his drawing tool, as his mark, as 3-dimensional line. His process centers around the selection of individual tendrils, each having a complex simplicity… which once interwoven create a fluid shape, variations in density, a composition.
