ARTIST STATEMENT
This show is pulled largely from my personal journals; a humorous mix of the constant anxiety and general disarray of navigating early adulthood. My style of work is generally unfinished sketches in mediums of ink, colored pencil, watercolor, and the oh-so-classic mechanical pencil. A mix of private reflection and pure absurdity, my work shows off an active imagination in what would otherwise be dull situations. A reminder to never stop daydreaming and to discover humor in the day to day.
