STAR (Southern Tier Actors Read) is pleased to bring to the Phelps Mansion Anton Chekhov’s The Cherry Orchard. Set in the waning years of the Russian Empire, the family of a once thriving estate struggle to find meaning in a world they find increasingly incoherent as servants test boundaries and newly minted business interests eye their greatest asset – the cherry orchard.
