The first in our Sundays at the Phelps series of spring dances is the Sweetheart Frolic. You don’t need a partner, just come and enjoy!

Blue Velvet Big Band has been a musical force in the Southern Tier for forty years. We play music that spans the 1940’s swing and concert compositions to today’s contemporary ballads and up-tempo dance tunes. Our band of saxophones, trumpets, trombones, drums, piano, bass guitar and vocalists offer a variety of dance styles for you to dance to: latin, rhumba, cha cha, waltz, west and east coast swing, polka, tango, rock and bluesy freestyle, bossa, mambo, foxtrot and samba. Dances are for single or couples, just come and meet other dancers.
