‘The Hungry Ear’, celebrating the art of the short story, brings a Rod Serling tale for September 25th. This time there are two readers, Chris Nickerson and Nick Delucia who will tell his story about a baseball team and its new pitcher. It’s called ‘The Mighty Casey’ and it takes place in the Broome County Public Library’s Decker room from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. We call it ‘a cocktail hour for the mind’!
