Join The Madrigal Choir of Binghamton for the first concert of their 45th anniversary season, American Reflections: Music for the 250th Anniversary of the Boston Tea Party and Beyond. The concert will feature pieces by William Billings, selections from Aaron Copland’s The Tender Land, and Randall Thompson’s The Testament of Freedom, as well as songs by Ned Rorem with special guest soprano, Christina Taylor. Theresa Lee-Whiting is guest conductor for this concert. Longtime Madrigal Choir accompanist, Jean Herman Hennsler, will be at the piano, joined by Lee Shepherd for the Copland pieces. Admission price is $20 with free admission for students.
