Join the Vestal Museum for the opening of the Work of Luanne Redeye on Saturday, October 5th, 2019 from 1PM-3PM as part of our ongoing Artist-Run Gallery project. The exhibition will be on display until Saturday, November 23rd, 2019.
Born in Jamestown, New York, Luanne Redeye grew up on the Allegany Indian Reservation in western New York. An enrolled member of the Seneca Nation of Indians and Hawk Clan, she studied at SUNY Oswego receiving her B.F.A. in 2008. It was during this time she first began oil painting. She went on to earn her M.F.A. in Painting and Drawing at the University of New Mexico in 2011.
The Vestal Museum is located 328 Vestal Pkwy E, Vestal, NY 13850 next to the Vestal Public Library. We are open Thursdays and Fridays from 10-2PM, Saturdays from 10-3PM, and Sundays from 1-3PM.
