This 90-minute, hands-on style workshop, will allow participants to deep-dive into issues such as: using one’s poetic voice, aligning poet and audience, and best practices on social media. For the $15 cost of participation, each student will receive a paperback copy of Terrell’s book: A Self-Taught Poet’s Handbook for Self-Taught Poets, which will aid in the discussion of understanding poetry vernacular, experimenting with poetic form, and getting published. The workshop will also include time to craft poems, feedback from fellow writers, and a closing Q & A session.
