Calling all amateur photographers!
The Broome County Environmental Management Council (EMC) is pleased to announce the return of the JKLS Environmental Photography Competition. Held in memory of Joyce K. L. Smith, a local leader and community activist, the intent of the show is to highlight the beauty of Broome County’s environment.

There will also be a prize for one photo from all entries that best fits this year’s theme, “Earth Day Every Day” in celebration of the 50th anniversary of Earth Day.
The deadline to enter is March 6th. Winning photos will be displayed at the Broome County Arts Council Artisan Gallery for the month of May with an opening reception held on May 1st during First Friday.
