The Binghamton Philharmonic Orchestra’s free “Concerts in Every Corner” summer series will begin this week with four performances in Binghamton by the Empire Saxophone Quartet. On Thursday (July 20), quartet will play at 11:20 a.m. at Ross Park Zoo, 60 Morgan Road, with free zoo admission included for those attending the performance. At 12:30 p.m., the quartet will play at Columbus Park, 26 Columbus Park East.

On Friday (July 21), the quartet will play at 11:20 a.m. at Cheri A. Lindsey Memorial Park, 1 Truesdell St., and at 12:30 p.m. at Fairview Park, 58 Fairview Ave.

The concerts, which will be a family-friendly mix of jazz, pops and contemporary classics suited to all ages, are sponsored by NYSEG.
