A campaign has begun to rename the Little Theatre at SUNY Broome (Broome Community College) for longtime theater professor and director Angelo Zuccolo, who died last month. This type of initiative needs input from various constituencies: faculty, students, alumni, community individuals. You can send letters of support to Dean of Liberal Arts Michael Kinney with a copy to Francis L. Battisti, Executive Vice President and Chief Academic Officer (Acting). Also, an Angelo Zuccolo Memorial Scholarship has been established. Donations can be sent to SUNY Broome Foundation Inc., P.O. Box 1017, SUNY Broome, Binghamton, NY 13905, earmarked for the Zuccolo Scholarship. The goal is $10,000 to make the scholarship self-sustaining.
