On Saturday (Feb. 24), the Southern Tier Singers’ Collective, will present “Arches in Sound,” a choral concert highlighted by Ralph Vaughan Williams’ Mass in G Minor. This soaring work for double choir will take full advantage of the impressive acoustics of St. Patrick’s Church in Binghamton.

Also on the program are the late Romantic English choral works of Charles Villiers Stanford and the Renaissance polyphony of Raphaella Aleotti.

The Binghamton-based STSC, founded in the fall of 2018 by director William Culverhouse, draws highly skilled singers from as far away as Ithaca, Oneonta, Elmira and northeastern Pennsylvania.

IF YOU GO: Southern Tier Singers’ Collectives will present “Arches in Sound” at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 24, at St. Patrick’s Church, 9 Leroy St., Binghamton. Admission is free, but donations are welcome.
