'BBC Murders' neither 'hot' nor 'cool'

The Cider Mill's production of "BBC Murders" portrayed four Agatha Christie mysteries originally broadcast by the BBC. Without scenery or period costumes, actors read their lines from hand-held scripts, as would have been done in the original radio broadcast. But does a radio play as a radio play on stage really work?
