Come listen to local talent, Taze Yanick, in the local museum while enjoying a cup of tea, coffee, or something with a little more kick. The Vestal Museum provides an intimate setting with great acoustics, a house party atmosphere, and free snacks and drinks. There is a suggested donation of $10. Come early and stay late!
Since the early ‘90s, Taze has become an integral part of the Greater Binghamton music scene, from composing and performing original music with his namesake, Taze Yanick Quartet, to founding the Latin-Jazz group, Sonando. He has played with local bands, Whiskey Bones, Balkan Connection, Dr. EF and the Rudimentary of Sound, Driftwood and East Coast Bigfoot. He currently performs with The Lutheran Skirts, Salsa Libre, Adam Ate the Apple, and Sabor Latino. Taze can be heard regularly at Binghamton’s Lost Dog Café and Johnson City’s Goodwill Theatre Jazz Jams.
