This coming Monday, April 8, Kathye Edwina Arrington will share her approach, her process, insights and the daily do’s and dont’s of being a working artist for the second in a series of talks titled An Artist’s Life at The Cooperative Gallery 213. The gallery at 213 State Street will open at 6 PM. The conversation with Arrington will start at 6:30 PM
Kathye Edwina Arrington has a great interest in the vastness of cultures and sensitivity towards children. She specializes in the art of African Mud Cloth, doll making and illustration. She has a BFA from Moore College of Art in Philadelphia and an MS in graphic design at the College of New Rochelle. She is also the founder of KEA Illustrations and is currently publishing children’s books.
Future artists in the series will be: Alexandra Davis on April 22; and Cole Johnson on May 6th.
